Acquisition Criteria

I believe that the SME sector is under-served in creating fair transactional value and there are a multitude of shareholders looking to exit. I’m interested in talking to businesses with the following attributes:

  • UK based
  • Established for more than 5 years
  • Consistent and stable revenues from £750,000 to £10 million
  • Existing management team in place  

With any opportunity, the first thing I look for is where I can add value. With my educational background in mechanical engineering, I’m fascinated with how things work, taking things apart only to put them back together again. I’m detail orientated and passionate about developing people. Sometimes all a business needs is a fresh pair of eyes, someone who can see things from a different perspective and can implement change; whether that is updating technology, streamlining processes or advising on team performance cultures. 

For me, structuring deals is about making sure everybody wins. I believe anyone who has started a business has done so at great risk, and what they have created is a credit to their talent and hard work, and any deal should leave them feeling their business was a success.
